alright!!! i'm finally DISCHARGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the feeling is one SHIOK sia. okie~ i shall begin my hospitalized story....
suddenly fever strikes me on sun evening during my work. no choice~ gonna apply leave and go back home. fever goes up till my whole head is so damn freaking hot! ate pandadol to make myself better. force myself to school on monday though i clearly noe i'm not feeling well. but i just dun wanna miss any lessons. fever comes to me again, ate pandadol, fever gone. everytime i eat medicine, the fever will be under control. HOWEVER! when the effect of the pandadol is gone..... it just SHOOTS UP high!! like rocket to outerspace!!!!!!!
so, i decided to go consult a doctor in polyclinic on tuesday afternoon. morning lessons? MISS!
doctor see see see, request me to take a blood test to play safe. no choice, gonna let them take my blood. so i look at them like they are vampires. waited 45min, result finally out. normal blood counts have to be 12, but my is 6.9! is almost a half!! the doc ask me to admit into hospital immediately, but i refuse to. so he let me choose, to go by ambulance or myself. of course i chose myself lah! den went to teach tution before i meet up wif ah mei to ask her to acc me to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH).
reached TTSH, waited quite long for my turn to consult the doctor. finally my name is called and i'm told to admit into TTSH immediately as well. they ask me to call my mum, but i dun wan. cuz is like throwing an atomic bomb right into her face man! somemore is in late night.. btw i'm hospitalized at 11.30pm.
but still ended up calling her. waited at A&E department. mum, dad & big bro arrived. but only one can come into the ward. so mum came in, big bro send ah mei back home, dad wait outside.
after long hrs of waiting, finally i'm pushed to another ward where i will spend my time in. however, the 1st night i doesn't have bed for me cuz is fully booked. so i slpt at the corridoor. sound pathetic, which is true, but the nurses there just treat me very very very good! especially one of them. 4gotten her name, but she's really kind to me.
woke up early in the morning ard 7am? by doctors and nurses. to examine me. den they start to transfuse the 1st packet of blood to me. seriously, its freaking painful. is so painful that i cried and till i just laid there like a dead corpse! den my pulse rate went down hill. so weak that the machine can't detect it, not even manually. soon, my bed starts to crowd ard by many nurses. some comfort me, some worry abt my pulse rate. den finally, the machine detect my pulse rate and it continue to go up till 62. everyone is happy, so am i. like that no need to pluck another needle mah. HAHAHA!
1 packet of blood took 5hrs? den when the 2nd one comes in. the pain is even greater than the previous one. force myself to slp so to 4get abt the pain. is actually the initial part that is painful. after that, cuz ur hand alrdy numb, would be more stable. ah mei came visit me at ard 3pm. finally got a bed in the ward and moved in. during transferring, air gets into the tube! no choice, they gonna draw out the air. which means those transfuse in, some have to get out and back in again. is simply just a torture.. so ah mei just kept on chatting wif me to let me 4get abt all the pain.
till evening, fann clifford janice & amirah came to visit me too. we chat & chat & chat. den mum came in. all of us just chat & laugh together. when everyone leaves, i'm tired too. anyway, got a "Fall Risk" pink tag attached to me, i can't go anywhere without a nurse beside me. so slpt very early to save their trouble.
next day woke up, doctors examine again. tis day is pretty relaxing. just eat medicine and keep on taking BP rate. watch the screen record for pulse rate, i'm the lowest among all! only 47?! omg... i start to suspect the machine got problem! hahaha~ but others look normal leh... =(
fann came to visit me at ard 1plus. chat, play wif lappy, slp. later in the night mei and ruvyn den visit me. all 4 of us went down to makan dinner. yes! my pink tag is removed in the afternoon. so i can go anywhere!! of course not out of TTSH.
mum & dad visit me at ard 7plus, den went back home. amirah turn up too. den the rest of them leave at 9plus in the night for their movie at AMK. so, i browse thru magazine. lotter ard, den head down to lobby for internet. back up to ward, found out one uncle passed away. omg... hurry back to ward to slp den. saw his relatives pass by, some are sad. but some simply like stones. neither sad nor happy.
friday, finally I'M DISCHARGE!!!!! mum pick me up at ard 1plus. have lunch before we head back home. rest for 15min, rush to teach tution. watch movie in the night wif mei they all. den head back home for some rest.
